Grandma and Papa's visit

Here are some more pictures from Grandma and Papa's visit to Chicago this weekend. Katie even helped Papa do some work! She really enjoyed her visit with Grandma and Papa and Dad made it back safely on the redeye from LA on Sunday morning.

Sitting up and Grandma Henn

Grandma Henn came to visit last weekend, and got in some quality Katie time. She even babysat while we went out and took an Italian cooking class. Sunday night dinners will be even delicious-er now we know how to chop an onion the right way!

Exciting Tooth Update!

I forgot to mention, Katie sprouted TWO teeth weekend before last! (April 5-6) One came in on Saturday and the other one appeared on Sunday. They're not quite camera-ready yet, and she likes to close up her mouth REALLY TIGHTLY when I try to get a look at them, so for now you'll just have to believe me. They're cute!

And it's nice because she's not feeling uncomfortable anymore as they come in.

The Big Swim

We had Katie's first swim in the pool a couple of weeks ago. She wasn't quite sure about the whole thing at first, but then she decided she liked it. She also excelled at looking cute.

New activities

Now that Katie is 6 months old, she's doing lots of things: swinging on a swing, and riding in her stroller facing forward like a big girl! Also, looking cute with a bowl of clementines and eating sweet potatoes.

Happy 6 month Birthday Katie!

We had a birthday celebration and prevented Katie from eating the candle on her container of delicious pears and blueberries baby food. All in all a successful 6 month birthday.

Mommy returns to work

I started back at work about a month ago, and Katie likes to help read the paper in the mornings. She also likes to model her onesie from Latham.
